Those of you who know Stephen, know he loves a good documentary. Well, the only way I could drag him from the TV was to get him to make one!. We decided to trek the Inca Trail to Machu Pichu in August  to raise money for Amnesty International.

But, as sometimes happens, life has thrown a curve ball. Due to some recent unexpected surgery, we are not going to make the trek, but remain committed to our fundraising goal.

Human Rights is something we all take for granted because we live in the lucky country. But not everyone is that lucky. Amnesty International gives a voice to those who are discrinmated against, imprisoned, or tortured when no-one else stands beside them. They change people's lives and change the world around us to make it a better place for us all.

We have already had such amazing support and have had many people support some great events.:

Last Christmas we held a Gingerbread House Evening. We raised a $1000 and there were some amazing creations made, that adorned many a Christmas table:

We have been selling chocolates all year, - Amy and Sean have been amazing, selling almost 3 boxes a week! Thanks to the WPFC U16As who have supported our chocolate sales every week, and of course those who have taken boxes - especially Jason Dempsey who buys the box and gets extra donations from colleagues at work. We have raised almost $4000 dollars this way!

Thanks so much for those who have donated, encouraged and supported us, it has been a fantastic journey and we will get to Machu Picchu eventually, we promise!!
